The Los Angeles County Science Fair provides a yearly setting for middle and high school students to show off their investigative skills and creativity to compete for medals, special awards and scholarships. Students not only receive recognition for their projects but the Science Fair nurtures student interest in various scientific and engineering fields.

63rd Annual Los Angeles County Science Fair
The Fair invited over a thousand middle and high school students. They represented the best of the best from public, charter, and private schools. In addition, over $10,000 in awards were given to students from both private and public sectors. The science fair also continued its traditional honor of bestowing the Darrell Smedley award to students who showed great promise....
