Grants Development

The Grants Development Office oversees the approval and acceptance of gifts and donations, leverages funding opportunities and advises on grant writing and development for LACOE. LACOE works with public agencies, private foundation, businesses and individuals to support programs serving the county's youth.

Organizations and individuals interested in making a donation to LACOE should contact the appropriate program manager or the Grants Office at 562/922-6112. (Note that LACOE does not generally provide grants to external organizations or individuals)

Los Angeles County Education Foundation

LACEF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner that helps to support many of LACOE's programs such as: California Democracy Schools, Academic Decathlon, Spelling Bee, Poetry Out Load, Nutrition/Obesity Prevention and Marine Science Floating Lab. Donors interested in supporting LACOE programs through LACEF, should contact the Grants Office for more information....
