Family Engagement Requirements

 

State and federal laws require that schools and districts partner with parents to increase student achievement. Mandating reforms that promote family engagement is often easier said than done. Harvard Family Resource Project’s, Beyond Random Acts: Family, School, and Community Engagement as an Integral Part of Education Reform encourages districts and schools to make family engagement a systemic, integrated, and sustained effort aligned to student learning.
