As a part of completing the application for the Temporary County Certificate (TCC), the applicant shall sign an affidavit, certifying under the penalty of perjury that he or she has duly filed an application for a certificate, credential, permit or waiver, together with the required fee and that, to the best of his or her knowledge, no reason exists why a certificate, credential, permit or waiver should not be issued. The TCC is a pay instrument only, it is not an authorization to perform any type service. Despite its name, the TCC is not an actual document. Once granted, it is an entry registered to a district or other education agency on an applicant screen in COS. The processing of a TCC requires a district or other education agency complete the Application for Temporary County Certificate. The application must be signed by the Authorized Employing Official whose name appears on the District Credentials Contact Person(s) And/Or Authorized Signatures form.
