Equity, Assessment and Curriculum Support Unit

Welcome to Equity, Assessment and Curriculum Support Unit (EACSU)

The Equity, Assessment and Curriculum Support Unit (EACSU) provides professional development services to support Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in providing equitable access to educational opportunities for all learners. The EACSU also provides professional development and technical assistance to support LEAs in the implementation of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) system.

Further, EACSU conducts applied research and program evaluation studies through its technical capabilities to develop and implement high quality research and evaluation projects. Additionally, the EACSU provides Countywide coordination of the Distinguished Schools Program and serves as liaison to districts and parents for information on Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) programs.
