CALIFORNIA SCHOOL LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

The Los Angeles County Office of Education is the lead agency for the California School Leadership Academy Regional Partnership serving the 6 counites in the Valley to Coast Collaborative (VALCO) including Fresno, Kern, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties. Working closely with the UCLA and UC Berkeley Departments of Education, CSLA provides school administrators across the VALCO region with research-based best practices for building and optimizing education leadership.

21 CSLA provides coaching, mentoring, and support to educational leaders, with a focus on how leadership directly impacts student learning. The program is designed to develop a new generation of educators who are strong leaders, committed to high standards, equity, and a school-wide vision to serve ALL students. CSLA partners with the UCLA School of Education to provide research-based training and supports focused on utilizing Improvement Science and Communities of Practice to build Equity Focused Leadership.
