Dr. Kate Kinsella and the Los Angeles County Office of Education are pleased to provide educators serving grades 3-9 with two 2-day sessions that focus on writing support for long-term English learners within English Language Arts and Designated ELD coursework.

The initial day of each session, Dr. Kinsella provides research-informed principles, essential practices and extensive resources focused on opinion and informative essays. The tandem days (2,4) Dr. Kinsella's associated, Theresa Hancock offers practical application tasks and detailed guidance to support effective implementation. Schools teams leave equipped with extensive print and digital resources for site-based professional learning and coaching.
