Equity, Social Justice & Engagement

Across the country, people continue to experience outrage, anger and frustration as the result of the killings of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and George Floyd, whose deaths have caused anguish amongst those who, for too long, have endured cruelty, indignity and disrespect. We value diversity and believe deeply that equity, respect and justice are central to the character of who we are, to the health of our democracy and to the well-being of our world.

We hope that the resources included on this page will enable you to help our students process the unsettling emotions that they may be experiencing now.   We also hope that the resources will enable you and your students to deepen understanding of the manifestations of racism in America and positive actions that can be taken to hasten our advance toward social justice and reform.
