LACOE Wellness unit promotes enhanced physical well-being and safe, supportive, and healthy learning environments that is in alignment to the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) model. We offer technical assistance and professional learning opportunities in the areas of:

  • Comprehensive Sexual Health Education
  • Nutrition Education
  • Physical Activity Promotion
  • Adapted Physical Education
  • School Wellness Policies
  • Tobacco Use Prevention (TUPE)
  • Physical Education
  • LGBTQ+ Inclusive Education

The Wellness unit supports school districts and school sites in Los Angeles County as they address the issues of health and wellness that put into action a whole child approach to education.
