The Power of WE

LACOE's Specialized Services unit provides technical support and professional development to school staff who serve students with disabilities.

We promote inclusion and believe that all children and youth with disabilities can be educated in the general education environment alongside nondisabled peers.

All students with and without disabilities can engage in learning and benefit from meaningful instruction, have friends and be full members of their school communities.

How to Teach Reading and Spelling

LIVE Virtual Workshop with Sasha Borenstein

June 15 - July 8, 2021

This course gives teachers the tools to directly teach students how to read and spell in an organized, systematic and sequential manner. This course provides what many other programs leave out, and that is a thoughtful way for students and teachers together to think about reading and spelling so that knowledge can be applied towards higher levels of reading mastery.

Workshop is limited to 25 people - REGISTER NOW!
