Physical Space

Projected Outcome: Intentionally designed physical spaces allow students to encounter places where they can freely explore what things are like and how things work. In such an environment, students investigate, invent, and experiment.

Transitions

Projected Outcome: Teachers conduct transitions in ways that engage students in conversations with adults or otherwise promote student learning and development.

Schedule

Projected Outcome: Schedules that allow for extended time periods in learning centers help to sustain dramatic play, construction, and other activities at a complex level. Students have ample time and opportunity to investigate what sparks their curiosity.
