Schools On Point

 

“Schools On Point” is a half-hour public affairs program produced by the Los Angeles County Office of Education. The show is hosted by LACOE Superintendent Arturo Delgado and moderated by Communications Director Frank Kwan.

Each show features thoughtful and timely discussion with key lawmakers and education leaders about the major issues impacting California public schools and students. The shows are taped periodically and aired on the California Channel, KLCS-TV (Channel 58) in Los Angeles and on LA36 and other select cable systems around the Los Angeles metro area.

Current Show: June 2012 - The state's continuing budget struggles and possible funding solutions for public schools are among the critical education-related issues discussed with California State Assemblymember Holly Mitchell (47th Dist., D-Culver City).
