The Los Angeles County Office of Education was pleased to host one of six statewide regional meetings co-sponsored by Policy Analysis for California Education (PACE) and California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA).
District leaders, teachers, school board members, and union leaders took part in this informative three-hour session. The session was designed to examine a variety of strategies, tools and resources that districts can use to support successful implementation of the CCSS. The session will feature two local school districts and their journey toward effective implementation, along with strategic advice on key issues including:
• Professional development for teachers
• Messaging and communications
• Investments in technology
