Ed Programs Stakeholder Engagement

Family Engagement is a key element to the success of students within LACOE’s Division of Student Programs (DSP). DSP offers specialized instruction for more than 3,000 students in non-traditional public school settings. Our Division supports over 20 school sites, including International Polytechnic (IPoly) High School, Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), Juvenile Court Schools, and Alternative Education. LACOE is pleased to offer this webpage of useful tools that align with our ongoing commitment to increase parent involvement across all of our school sites.

The DSP Family Engagement page offers existing resources and publications designed to support family engagement efforts in non-traditional school settings. An array of tools are available here to help increase meaningful parent involvement among families with students who are at risk of academic failure.
