Beginning Teacher Programs

The LACOE Beginning Teacher Programs offers credential programs and professional development opportunities for both general education and special education teachers. In collaboration with 22 local public school districts and over 70 charter schools, LACOE BTP provides a District Intern Program and Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment Induction Program (BTSA) for eligible teacher candidates and classroom teachers seeking full California certification.

We also support teachers by offering an Added Autism Authorization & Early Childhood Authorization.
