Health Outreach Program
Health Outreach Program (HOP)
Our goal is to increase access to quality health care for low-income children and families in L.A. County through partnerships with state-certified provider agencies. All K-12 public schools and districts in the county may access health, vision and dental care, enrollment services from HOP partner agencies. Eligible children, students and families are enrolled in Medi-Cal, Kaiser Permanente Child Health Program (KPCHP), Child Health & Disability Prevention (CHDP) Program, Aid to Infants & Mothers (AIM), Covered California, My Health LA and other free/low cost or ability to pay health programs. Funding comes from the L.A. County Department of Public Health/Children’s Health Outreach Initiatives.
