The five-day SNOR training will provide participants with an understanding of the general principles of school health services; identify best practices and resources; and learn practical tips and survival skills for school nurses. Topics include school health laws, school nurse guidelines, medication administration, mandated screenings, immunizations, communicable diseases, school health records and other school health topics.
Continuing education hours are available for each meeting attended. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 12715 for 7.0 contact hours each meeting.
