Federal E-rate funding includes the CIPA (Children's Internet Protection Act) requirement to educate students on appropriate online behavior.

Digital Citizenship curriculum includes six (6) main themes for teaching and learning:

  • Privacy & Security
  • Digital Footprint and Identity
  • Relationship and Communication
  • Cyberbullying, Digital Drama & Hate Speech
  • News & Media Literacy

  • Los Angeles County Office of Education Digital Citizenship Initiative is a commitment to support 21st Century teaching and learning with countywide implementation of cyber-security solutions that filter and block inappropriate and unwanted Internet content for CIPA compliance.
