Explore, Engage, Collaborate, and Create
The Maker Movement teaches kids that they can make the world a better place by encouraging them to solve real world challenges through exploration and self-directed hands-on projects.
Making fosters innovative thinking, creativity, problem solving and perseverance. It focuses on the design process, from design planning to building and prototyping to testing and plan refinement.
Diverse topics include 3D printing, textiles, repurposing recycled materials, coding and circuitry. Making offers a multitude of activities that can be easily integrated throughout your curriculum.
Join LACOE and Los Angeles County educators as we explore what Making looks like in the classroom.
