Center for Distance & Online Learning



The Center for Distance and Online Learning (CDOL) provides educators, support staff, counselors, school mental health professionals, students, families, and non-profit agencies with a unique combination of technology-enhanced Collective Impact Implementation services via in-person, hybrid, and online learning opportunities.

Through specific federal and state grant funding, CDOL facilitates creative professional and student learning solutions that focus on sustainable infrastructures for mental health, building culturally responsive learning environments and addressing chronic absenteeism, English Language Development, and/or Social-Emotional Learning through Arts Integration. In addition to CDOL’s wide range of technology expertise and customized instructional consulting services that support direct student instruction, its TeachStar Online Academy has high-quality self-paced Arts Integration and Student Mental Wellbeing modules, and moderated online professional learning courses that are Common Core aligned for English Language Arts and Mathematics gear towards pre-/in-service educators.
