LACOE's ETN video team triumphs with 6 Telly Awards for Dr. Duardo's biography, showcasing excellence in education storytelling.
LACOE’s Public Affairs and Communications’ Education Technologies Network (ETN) video production team won six Telly Awards for their work on the Los Angeles County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Duardo’s short biography, An Education: The Debra Duardo Story. As a Los Angeles County native and a Mexican American, first-generation college graduate, Dr. Duardo’s inspiring story serves as a message to students across L.A. County that regardless of their background, a good education can help them succeed in life. The short documentary was filmed and edited during the COVID-19 pandemic and even through a global pandemic, the team produced award-winning work. Watch Dr. Duardo’s biography here.
