California Preschool Instructional Network



A regional network of early care administrators and leaders that support school readiness programs and drive collaboration across the county.

LACOE serves Region 11 (Los Angeles County) by facilitating a network that includes Transitional Kindergarten and Preschool providers. The goals of the California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN) are to:

  • Establish and maintain a regional network of administrators and leaders of early care and education/school readiness programs.
  • Develop and/or support regional communication and collaboration systems among various stakeholders in early care and educaton/school readiness.
  • Promote smooth transitions from preschool to kindergarten for all children, including English Language Learners and those with special needs.
