LACOE is seeking volunteers to join the “LACOE AI in Education Task Force”. The goal of the task force is to advance the responsible adoption and use of AI technology in LA County's TK-12 school districts and classroom. You can help develop guiding principles for the responsible use of AI in Education for LA County Districts and a comprehensive AI professional development Program for LACOE staff, K-12 educators, and district leaders.

We are seeking participation from educators, school leaders, students, parents, colleges and universities, businesses, non-profits and philanthropic organizations. The deadline to apply is December 8, 2023. 

By assembling a diverse and dynamic team of experts, visionaries, educators, and advocates, we aim to drive change, foster collaboration, and address the complex challenges faced by education systems today.
