Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebrates the diverse cultures, contributions and achievements of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Observed in May, this month fosters cultural understanding, highlights the rich heritage of these communities and promotes inclusivity in acknowledging their profound impact on American society.

During AANHPI Month, educators are invited to attend the Ethnic Studies Symposium Series: Asian American and Pacific Islander Studies at the Chinese American Museum, and teach ethnic studies that specifically highlight the courage, leadership and contributions of the AANHPI community.
