History Day L.A. 2023 was a Success with the Help of Volunteers

History Day L.A., held on Saturday, March 4 at San Gabriel High School was an exciting event for everyone! Over 420 students, grades 4-12 from districts all across Los Angeles County participated.
This year’s theme, “Frontiers in History: People, Places, Ideas” was showcased in the form of posters, documentaries, performances, exhibits, historical papers, websites, and podcasts, all created by students working as an individual or in a group. Winners in each of the categories will move forward to compete in the State History Day competition, April 14-16 in Sacramento.
A huge volunteer team of enthusiastic coordinators and judges, along with several LACOE staff came together to create an experience that will be remembered by all.
