Applications Open for Superintendent Advisory Council

By joining the council, students will have the chance to engage in meaningful conversations with Superintendent Duardo about critical issues.
Los Angeles County high school students are invited to apply for the 2024-25 Superintendent Student Advisory Council.
This council provides a unique leadership opportunity for students to directly influence educational decisions and shape the future of public education.
LACOE seek a diverse group of students representing various backgrounds and perspectives. By joining the council, students will have the chance to engage in meaningful conversations with Superintendent Duardo about critical issues such as educational equity, student well-being and the overall quality of our schools.
Council members will meet virtually on a quarterly basis beginning in fall 2024 to share their insights and recommendations. To apply, please complete the application and obtain parental or guardian consent. We encourage all interested students to apply.
ELIGIBLE STUDENTS:
· Enrolled at a Los Angeles County public high school
· Grades 9-12
DEADLINE:
Friday, August 30, 2024, by 5 p.m.
