L.A. County Students Win Major Awards and Scholarships at the 2025 Regeneron ISEF

Students from Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District and Temple City Unified School District won Grand and Special awards at the 2025 ISEF.

Seven students from this year's Los Angeles County Science and Engineering Fair won Grand Awards, Special Awards and scholarships at the 2025 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). The ISEF, held in Columbus, Ohio, from May 11-16, is the largest pre-collegiate STEM research competition, with 1700 participants from 48 states and 69 countries. Grand Awards are given to 1st - 4th place in each of the 22 categories.

Notable scholarship winners include Anish Anand, who won the Chief of Naval Research Scholarship Award for $15,000, and Leila Veronica Gheysar, who won the Long Island Presidential Scholarship for $41,000 per year for 4 years.
