On May 2, LACOE’s GAIN Division partnered with the L.A. County Department of Public Social Services, the Office of Supervisor Hilda Solis, Spinosa Real Estate Management and other public agencies to host the 2nd Annual American Dream Hiring Spree at The Shops at Montebello.

The event brought together 32 employers recruiting for more than 100 available positions. Participating organizations included Disney, Changee Coffee, the Los Angeles Police Department and the City of Montebello.

More than 600 job seekers preregistered, and at least 300 attended in person to explore opportunities and connect with recruiters.

L.A. County Supervisor Hilda Solis presented LACOE’s GAIN Division with a certificate of recognition for its role in organizing the event.

Following the strong turnout and positive response, organizers have begun planning the 2nd Annual Fall Into Employment Hiring Spree, tentatively scheduled for October at The Shops at Montebello.
