Hazard Mitigation Plan Community Meeting and Survey
Wed Jan 21 11:33:00 PST 2026
The public can share their input at an Online Community Meeting on Jan. 29 or by completing a survey.
LACOE is developing a Local Hazard Mitigation Plan to identify natural hazards and outline strategies to reduce its impact on the communities we serve. We want to hear from those who live or work in L.A. County to help us understand local priorities and strengthen our preparedness efforts across Southern California.
The public is invited to attend our Online Community Meeting on Jan. 29 from 3-4 p.m. to hear about the plan, how it works and how you can share input to help shape the final plan. Registration is required to join the meeting.
Additionally, please complete a short survey in English or Spanish by June 1, 2026 to help us prioritize resources and improve our collective ability to withstand and recover from future emergencies.
